We are Luisa and Roger, volunteers who share a love for the sea, nature, and making a positive impact on our community.
Luisa teaches at a middle school in Padova and serves as the vice president of Retake fondation, as well as being responsible for Retake Padova, while Roger is an expert in strategy and marketing and member of Retake Palizzi.Â
Beyond our work, we are dedicated Retakers—actively engaged in fostering cleaner, more beautiful, and more sustainable public spaces.
Retake is a citizen-led movement founded in Rome in 2010 by Rebecca Spitzmiller.
We are volunteers committed to reclaiming and revitalizing urban spaces through collective action.
By organizing clean-up events, educational initiatives, and community engagement projects, Retake inspires people to take responsibility for their surroundings, creating more livable and welcoming cities.
Retake is active in 55 cities across Italy and, since 2009, has carried out over 9,000 projects nationwide.

In this small town at the southernmost tip of the Italian mainland, we have a dedicated group. We also organize a Summer Camp, welcoming participants from Retake Padova and Retake Roma. Or outside Italy

Accommodation & Daily Routine
We stay for free in a school provided by the Comune di Palizzi. Accommodation includes shared bedrooms or a large common sleeping area.
- Mornings: Volunteer work before lunch
- Afternoons & Evenings: Free time to explore, relax, or join activities
Costs & Responsibilities
- Shared Costs: Breakfast, lunch, and rental cars
- Dinner: Each participant covers their own meal
- Travel: Each person arranges their own transportation
